We are the RGI Interns of 2015.

 

Every year, a program known as SHAD Valley selects 600 of the brightest high school students in Canada to be immersed in a month-long STEM program. Then, the Rare Genomics Institute (RGI), a non-profit organization based in the United States, selects between 20-30 of the SHAD alumni for a four-week internship in which we are to gain experience and to help those who have been diagnosed with a rare disease. CEP is one of RGI's 2015 focus diseases. The information in this website was compiled over the course of many hours and verified through various sources, including the patients and experts of CEP themselves. It is meant to give basic insight into this disorder, and to help those who have been diagnosed with it. Please enjoy this website and spread the word so that others can benefit from it as well.
